Next Liverpool Biennial Fringe Meet: Monday 18 April, 5pm

Calling all artists, curators and cultural instigators! Are you running an event or exhibition during Liverpool Biennial 2016 (9 July-16 October), or considering it? Let us help you shout about it…

We are facilitating a gathering of like-minded people who are interested in running an independent event alongside this year’s festival; people like YOU who would like to form part of the Liverpool Biennial Fringe. The 14 weeks of the UK’s largest contemporary art festival is a great moment to host an event, as many national and international visitors and journalists come to the city to experience what it has to offer. This includes the official Biennial programme of exhibitions, talks and events, but also independent screenings, gigs, performances, symposiums, mini-festivals and happenings hosted by talented individuals and collectives.

So if that’s you, why not meet other artists, curators, event organisers, cultural instigators and possible collaborators? Our next, informal gathering will be at the Biennial office on Monday 18 April, 5-6pm, where you can find out how to get news of your event out to thousands across the UK in a special fringe edition of  our Culture Diary pocket guide – distributed in the Biennial VIP welcome packs in addition to widespread distribution across the UK. Plus, hear more about current public funding opportunities that you may wish to take advantage of to help you finance your project.
