Owen Evans
Profession: Professor of Film (Edge Hill University).
Tell us about you: Germanist, film lecturer, journal editor, who is enjoying exploring, and pushing, the boundaries of his new field and trying to make exciting new things happen.
What inspires you? Creativity, enthusiasm, a can-do attitude, magic and music.
What do you love about Liverpool? I love its cultural vibrancy, which reminds me so much of Berlin; I love its architecture and all its little nooks and crannies (but not its football teams!).
What would your superpower be? Teleportation, without any shadow of a doubt.
Favourite local hangout? Tough call, but the Leaf Café just wins out. What a great venue for live music!
