The eyes of the world’s media will be focused on Liverpool, so now is the perfect time to do that portfolio update, tidy up your social media biographies, or even update your profile on kin!

It may sound a bit dull, but the IFB Business Club is actually an amazing, FREE, service, which opens up lots of opportunities to get connected with potential clients and ‘buyers’, as well as exclusive access to some of the expos and events taking place around the city. Again, it’s FREE! So just register over on their site.

3. Put the Creative and Digital Week in your diary

Whilst the whole of IFB could benefit your business, in particular the 14-18 July is dedicated to the creative sector. If there’s one week worth you looking at, it’s this one. We’ve put a full list of creative and digital events on the kin site — also check out the events calendar at ifb2014.com. Note: there are some great creative events that fall outside of C&D week — so be sure to search ’all festival’.

4. Get involved with Creative Kitchen

During C&D week there will be a dedicated hub for you creative and digital peeps (and other IFB delegates), at Oh Me Oh My (West Africa House), literally a stones throw from the main IFB Hub. 5. Pub in the IFB Hub

Held in the IFB Business Club Lounge with stunning views over Liverpool’s award-wining Albert Dock, the ‘Pub in the IFB Hub’ provides you with an opportunity to relax, network and enjoy free refreshments as you take in one of Liverpool’s finest views. You might have attended an IFB 2014 event during the day and be waiting for an evening event, or simply want to avoid rush-hour traffic or an excuse to visit the IFB Hub.
