Everyone likes a kick ass t-shirt. And we at The Double Negative are no different. That’s why we are looking for 3 people to re-imagine The Double Negative as an image to adorn a range of the best t-shirts ever. We want people to include the words somewhere ‘The Double Negative’. Thats it. It can be any interpretation of that as long as those words are included.
The winning designers will be made immortal through a profile in Little Black Book, and will be interviewed by us for a special written feature that will be posted on The Double Negative site. They will also receive a percentage of every t-shirt (of their design) sold.
All you have to do is come up with a cracking idea (using no more than 3 colours), and send the design (high res images please) to competition[@]thedoublenegative.
Shirt colour for all printed designs is limited to the colour currently available at the printers used and is subject to change at any time according to availability.
The Double Negative reserves the right to make necessary minor adjustments or changes to submitted designs in order to conform artwork to manufacturing requirements.
The Double Negative also reserves the right to make any other final decisions pertaining to a design’s ink colours, sizing, or placement, as discussed with the designer.
All submitted designs must be the original work of the participant.
Works previously published in any location other than The Double Negative may not be submitted.
Submissions may not contain any intellectual property of any third party such as logos, trademarks, service marks or copyrighted material. The Double Negative reserves the right to reject any submission that it deems in its sole discretion to be vulgar, profane, offensive, or inappropriate.
Designs accepted into The Double Negative competition and posted to the website may be removed from the competition and website at anytime.
The participant understands and agrees that The Double Negative may want commercial use on apparel and other promotional products. Any use of any submitted designs will however be discussed beforehand with the designer along with terms of sale. If we use your design for sale purposes you will get a percentage of the items sold (winner or not). If the participant is not agreeable to this, the participant should not submit designs to The Double Negative.
For any reuse or distribution of our name, you must make clear to others the license terms of The Double Negative. The best way to do this is with a link to our web page. Please see our full Terms & Conditions for more details!
